OK so here is my "raw" design i came up with. I like the strong silhouette, the shapes, the arms are supposed to be... not there... kind of like ghost like arms. Which ill get into, visually, next i guess. Next part is honing down how his armor really will look like, a bit tighter drawing and play with some poses.

So, My gf said he kind of looked like a fairy, so i was hmmm, how about some wings... i think looks kinda cool, but. maybe too much. Its getting too cluttlered with the wings and i think the balance of detail and simple shapes was better without wings... so, thats where its leaning towards.

Hey Thanks Sanguine! Ill play around more with the wings. The things that, as you can see in these following image, I have a "space" theme, right inside the armor of this dude. The wings will distract from that.... Hmmm, i have to pick, wings, or space... xD

Here more Sketches, and getting to know my own character a bit more, visually speaking.

So, in his head, it aint fire, is some sort of plasma type thing, looks like fire.. i guess it's fire then. Ok cool. Haha, and, inside the should armor You can see galaxies, and stars and stuff. Thought it'd be cool. He is a planetary conqueror and all. I really, from the beginning, wanted to include something in him, that looked like just space. The whole idea from the beginning, was "space knight" from there went to villain, then kept narrowing it down to this.
Oh! And the arms, are some ghost like thing, invisible sometimes... in my mind this played a role in the final illustration, will play around with this and see how I could best portray it.

Hey hey! gonna start working on the model sheet now. I just finished the front view, took me the whole day D: Im sooo slow. But the other views wont be this tight i hope.

hey guys, its been some time since I updated.. I was working on the model sheet, got some opinions from some people, and turned out my design wasnt good... i like it, but it just wasnt telling much about who this guy is or does. Tried to fix that, and I have come up with something i am happy with moving forward.

Added and changed stuff to make him look like a ruler, and emperor, somebody who you look at, and you think, oh yeah, this is the guy giving the orders, he commands. Then, for the sake of a little story telling of sorts, or more of eh "whats his thing" kind of thing i added a design to his chest piece, is like spheres that store galaxies or planets captured and the uses to increase his power.

I was going to recommend you do with the wings what you wound up doing with the cloak, model the shapes along the same lines as the shoulder pads. But it is looking pretty good like this. The choices for the head is solid.

For some reason the whole this is reminding me of Thanos right now, not a bad thing, just a thing.
