Although the second could be very interesting too.

Just take care about the "80% appearance" for your character !
You should extand canvas (or simply put her upper) a bit to see more her legs probably.

An idea i got while reading her reason for being the villain
"she can see and predict future through her bird's eyes and saw so much death and desolation that she lost all her faith in humanity " What if at the end she realized that she's the cause of this and became even more mad because that's what she was trying to prevent
That could be a really interesting story, what do you think?

Oh yeah that's so cool :o i love stories messing up with time even if they're so hard to come up with for them to be logical ! but yeah actually that would be pretty good like this !

Really cool concept! I think it may be a bit difficult to really show what her power is, but if you can pull it off I think it will look amazing. Keep it up!

That could give a really interesting character, the one that unknowingly become the vilain in order to do go and in a messed up way saves humanity (Like in Watchmen if you've seen it, if you haven't then I won't say more to avoid spoil )

here's a more detailed version of the illustration's sketch. I made it so we can see more of her legs, also not sure about the perspective on her arm , and still figuring out the bird's anatomy, i need to study more pictures !

Something that can help for the anatomy is using Daz3D, it's free, and quite easy to use you can put the character in any pose and it helps a lot at learning the proper placement for angles like that (I use it all the time xD )
The bird looks great
But don't worry nice work so far!

i started the coloring ! going for really pop retro colors ! guardians of the galaxy / black panther vibe ! c: basically she's surrounded by a quantum / vortex portal
