Some thumbnails. I think i like 4 and 7 the best, but i'm not sure. 1 and 8 are pretty strong too, since i'm going for a heroic look.

Pretty cool so far but maybe you could try an additional design based off of a Centaur or a Satyr.

When I first read unicorn/knight design, i thought you meant a knight riding a unicorn into battle. But this is so much better than I originally thought. Best of luck with the design. Oh and I like design no. 8 the most.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, helps me a lot.
I went with 1 and 7, and tried to make 1 more rounded and slim, and 7 more bulky. I don't know which of them to choose yet. I personally don't really like the sword, so i'll try out some different weapons, and maybe a shield who knows. I feel pretty happy about the colors though.

At first i saw that pink shapes in the thumbnails and i thought of some kind of glowing magic. Do you think of that for an action pose?

mosy hillarious champion so far for me in final illustration polish that rainbow sword really catches eye , overall ide is awesome keep it up!

Wonderful original concept. The head is working great. From the neck down, it feels a lot like a plain old human body. Have you considered elongating the limbs at all, adding an extra joint in the leg, making them look more like a horse's instead of a man's?
Anyhow, coming along well and lots of fun juxtaposition in the design. Great rendering on the sword. Good luck with the rest!

Unicorn Update.

There's no red line or direction anymore.
The ideas are constantly changing and moving off in different directions.. We'll see where it goes, at least i'm having a lot of fun with this.
